San Bruno, CA...Authorities have said that at least one person has perished in a huge gas explosion in San Bruno tonight. Lt. Governor Able Maldonado has declared a state of emergency in the affected area. As many as 53 homes may have been destroyed and 120 homes damaged. Several people have been taken to area hospitals with burn related injuries. Estimates are that up to a 10 acre are has been affected by this fire... ABC Chanel 7 is streaming from the scene live.

JAMESTOWN, Calif. -- On Saturday, September 18, Railtown 1897 State Historic Park (SHP) will officially celebrate the recent restoration of wooden Caboose #7 with caboose rides, handcar rides, storytelling, live music and more. Caboose #7 was originally built in 1923 and came to Jamestown in 1956. This caboose has appeared in many movies and TV shows, including Back to the Future III, where it was part of the dramatic train jumping scenes. Suffering from dry rot and poor remodeling in the 1980s, Park volunteers spent four years carefully researching and replicating original materials to make the caboose available for a return to train service...

Hughson, CA.....Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department Sergeant John Walker, and Deputy Jesse Grogan, who is assigned to the Hughson Police Services, will both be recognized by the Hughson City Council next week for their heroic actions during the course of a working structure fire evacuation. On Mon., Aug. 30, 2010, at approximately 9:20 p.m., while on his regular patrol duties, Sgt. Walker was flagged down by a concerned citizen near the intersection of Tully and Fox Roads in Hughson. The citizen reported a home in the 6700 block of Fox Road was on fire and possibly fully engulfed in .....

Angels Camp, CA....Shawn started the church, REFUGE, in 2008 with his wife of 18 years, Connie. After 15 years as the youth Pastor for Calvary chapel in Sonora, they felt like God was calling them to lead a church. They originally started as a bible study at the Golden State cellular office, they moved to various locations including Glory hole center before landing at their new home on Murphys Grade rd, the former Church of the Nazarene. Their Church has grown from about 20 people in 2008 to over 100 today. They have started a program called "As you see fit clothing .....

More to follow if needed... Update as of 11:23am...Crews on scene are reporting fairly significant damage, to the mobile home but no injuries at the residence. They are transporting at least one party from the vehicle however. The rest of the inbound units have been canceled and the incident is actually on Live Oak Ct...
